...it could be a wonderful fixer upper!
ReplyDeleteIt has a lot of history.
ReplyDeleteIs it waiting for another inhabitant?
ReplyDeleteIt loos like it was a fine house, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThat is so true. It makes you wish they could tell their story.
ReplyDeleteMaybe someone will want to fix it up.
ReplyDeleteAbandoned houses are places of shattered dreams of the ghosts who inhabit them. Henry Ford was a good businessman. The Fordson tractor outsold all other tractors combined with a sale price around $250-$300. They became available just as young men left the farm for WWI so they filled a need for general purpose power on the farm largely replacing horses.
ReplyDeleteI just love them, they hold lots of memories.
ReplyDeleteHe looks a bit forlorn...
ReplyDeleteIt looks so well situated...
ReplyDeleteFueron lugares de dulces sueños y aún siguen siendo guardianas de historias y de vidas.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo,
Abandoned long enough for the tree to grow unchecked. Nice old place!
ReplyDeleteAlways interesting to think about the people that once live in all the abandoned houses we find here and there.
