Wind Power

Wind turbines are dominating features on a landscape. Many people consider them graceful, but others find them intrusive.

  3. We have an area east of us that is thick with wind towers, and most of our energy come from them which is carbon free. I think they are great for the environment and not bad looking. They also provide substantial income for the farmers who own the land on which they sit. And, yes, I did enjoy a mixed drink, the first in a very long time. We have just started eating in restaurants again.

  4. We have them around in different towns. One town protested against having them but most people don't mind. I like them too.

  5. They look rather good and I don't mind them but I believe they do make a hum that annoys some people that live near by, but of course I don't know only told that.

  9. Here the trouble is the sound they make and the killing of birds and at least who has the benefit from their product.
