Government grants made it possible for Ontario farmers to install solar panels as an alternate source of energy. I'm Linking to Barn Charm.

  3. Solar energy should be part of our energy package. Good that government is supporting this. Barns are interesting because they are fading away so fast. The reason for barns is to shelter farm animals, but farms seldom raise animals any longer as that task has been usurped by factory confinement agriculture. Farms now mostly raise grain and are larger and less profitable than in the past. Interesting photo of the old and new. Glad to see you back. I've missed your posts.

    1. There was only so much money that the Ontario government had in the grant fund. More farmers applied than expected and some of them had to pay the total cost on their own.
