The reason for the red glow is that the sun was setting behind me. Having the shutter opened for twenty seconds is the reason for the hazy or fiery reflection. I'm linking to Weekend Reflections.
I have just begun to seriously work with shutter speed....this is wonderful...if I'd known you were out there I snapping photos I would have invited you in for tea ;)

ReplyDeleteI don't know about the reflection, but that fiery glow is amazing! I may have to try this with my camera. I am guessing you used a tripod. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are right. Long exposures work best with a tripod. You can also set your camera on something steady.
