I would like to have such a house. Doesn't look bad at all but a pity it now disappears. Still it doesn't leave a great footprint on earth by disappearing and see how nice it still blends in the landscape. Great photo.
ReplyDeleteMust have been a nice place to live in, looks like it will collapse very soon.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to see you like abandoned buildings as much as I do. I have a big file of photos I have taken of them thru the years. This is a classic and in great shape for its age and abandonment. The capture would look beautiful framed and on the wall of my house :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a shame.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo!
ReplyDeleteSad to see, but it does make for a compelling image.
ReplyDeleteCool shot! VERY moody.
ReplyDeleteMakes a great photo, Andy!
ReplyDeletePerfect for this time of yeaar!
ReplyDeleteAn old farmhouse, I presume. It is a shame, and yet these old houses are incredibly interesting as they decay.... Very nice image!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good week for abandoned buildings ... This is a beauty, imagine what it looked like when it was cared for.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt a fine home in its day. We have quite a few of these old, deserted homes out here in the country.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome old house!
ReplyDeletei hate to see places like this abandoned but they make such beautiful photos don't they? i'm just drawn to them!
ReplyDeleteSad but so fascinating .... I always wish I knew the story of why.... Abandoned is such a sad word! ( but I always take pictures of such buildings, though never quite as well as you did here!)
ReplyDeleteHere will require a little more money, skills and time in order to get this house to habitable.
ReplyDeleteI love these old dilapidated house. Someone has lived and left it. There are many reasons for this.
This dilapidated home is incredible! Now you've got me wondering where this is!
ReplyDeleteThis is sad but a gorgeous shot. I love the light and color.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot Andy so full of mood and atmosphere. Sad about the house it needs someone to restore it...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Andy. I didn't realize you could keep clicking to get the exact location. I learned something new today!
ReplyDeleteSad. Very sad. It looks like it had good bones and could have been saved.
