The fish ladder is new this year. Last year 10,000 salmon and trout were bucketed or netted to get them around the dam. The rainbow trout do their migration in the spring.

ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I've spent many an autumn and spring in that exact spot, trying to snap photos of the trout and salmon. Is the ladder only in place this year? I haven't been back there for over two years and they were working on it back then.. planning for the next spring.
