Geese Armada

It was a very windy day and these guys and gals found a spot on the bay that offered shelter from the wind.

  4. That is a neat shot. Looks like a bunch of decoys. We get a dozen or so at a time here and considering the racket just those few make, I cannot imagine how much noise this herd could muster up.

  6. Our weather is too warm for them to stay here. We have about 20 overnighting. But the cold air leaves them up north.

  7. Lately they seem to be flying over our house in greater and greater numbers--- must be the new "lakes" from all of the rain we're having... Nice shot.

  10. Up near Baltimore where my daughter lives, i see crowds of them like this frequently...but they are in the fields and not on the water. This is a LOT.

  14. Nice! I saw something like this recently and was surprised that nearly all of the geese were turned in the same direction.
