I first photographed this house November 16, 2014. At that time I expected it to be demolished in a matter of days. You can see the original photo here. It is interesting to note that vandals have not touch the old house. |

It looks beautiful with all the green and flowers around, could be a normal house not ready for demolishing.
ReplyDeleteThat is interesting. I suspect that here, the vandals would have had their way with this play and not much would be left.
ReplyDeleteIt looks happier with all the nice flowers. The roof is in good shape, which should help it to survive
ReplyDeleteJust waiting to be restored but . . . the second story windows open to birds, squirrels . . . :/
ReplyDeleteRemarkable that it endures.
ReplyDeleteand the landscaping has filled in
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely environment it has now, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThis is a true beauty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stately structure. Sad to see that no one loves it.
ReplyDeleteSo the road wasn't built it seems.
ReplyDeleteAmazing it's still standing without the vandals ruining it.
I agree with bieb. Worth saving especially with the green and flowers around.
ReplyDeleteThe perennial flowers gives the house a sense of life, but someone must put considerable love and money into this house before it becomes a home.
ReplyDeleteIt is terrific, but I see from the older post that a road will be going through here. No hope. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteI like that!
