...a handsome pair!
ReplyDeleteIt's rough being the leader (feathers). That's why I like a male in the lead. Less ruffled feathers for me.
ReplyDeleteLive the motion the water gives the photos.
He looks a bit sad too..
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo and reflection.
Preciosos reflejos, el agua parece un espejo.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo,
These are my favorite birds. Love this photo very much! Yes, the poor guy isn't very colorful but strong and great! And she is wonderful also.
ReplyDeleteTerrific shot!
ReplyDeleteDucks do molt and grow new feathers. I had to look closely at the male to see he was a Mallard.
ReplyDeleteHe's not looking good, Andy! She still loves him though! ;-))
ReplyDeleteLooks like he have some grass growing out of his neck.
ReplyDeleteyes I was going to say where's his green and blue feathers but still a good photo anyway.
ReplyDeleteGood catch--- it's funny how they lose their color every year after the mating season.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely perfect shots! The ducks' feathers are in great detail and the reflections are truly awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love the reflections and the glassy quality of the water here. (So...do mallards suffer from male pattern baldness??)
