...concrete out last wood! I see a lot of these scenes around here!
ReplyDeleteI believe that this barn will shelter nothing more now. LOL! I like the grain silo
ReplyDeleteThe silos are built to last!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...that is true! I wonder if it has something to do with the round shape.
ReplyDeleteThat's true.
ReplyDeleteSilos are built to withstand outward pressure from tons of grain. A barn would fall over with just a small percentage of that much pressure. It's the same here-- Silos outlast the barns. Lots to see in this picture, Andy.
ReplyDeleteInteresting observaties Andy.
ReplyDeleteWhat an a great scene, not one I ever seen before.
ReplyDeleteUn cielo impresionante para un paisaje increíble. Un abrazo Andy
ReplyDeleteSilos do not rot or fall down on their own. In fact, they are difficult to remove being thick concrete.
ReplyDeleteBarns can have second lives for all manner of things. It's too bad they can't get a second chance and so many collapse like this.
ReplyDeleteYes a strange look there.
ReplyDeletePaisaje desolado acompañado de un cielo estupendo.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Yep we have plenty of them here too, nice seeing them out in the countryside though.
ReplyDeleteBuena imagen, amigo... Bien captada
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo

Sad to see barns fall down, but I guess all things must retire eventually.
