...Andy, I'm glad that you got these photo while you could.
ReplyDeleteNice capture of abandoned and weathered. Yet the water retains its power.
ReplyDeleteThis poor mill is well damaged but it keeps a lot of charm and your photo is well composed. I really like
ReplyDeleteThis would make an excellent jigsaw puzzle!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat shame, it's beautiful. I wonder if the internal mechanism is still there.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look as if it is going to last much longer, Andy!
ReplyDeleteFabulous image Andy, why is it that these old buildings are so charmingly photogenic ✨
ReplyDeleteIt's looking a bit down at heel but it makes a very nice photo.
ReplyDeleteYou wonder how long it's still going to last. It seems like it's being worn away.
ReplyDeleteBack then, environmentally friendly solutions were very common.
ReplyDeleteIt's slowly wearing away but looks great in that location. Nicely composed photo, Andy.
ReplyDeleteYour way of treating the colors these last images leaving them at their lightest, least significant point, I like it because they do not distract the viewer's attention in any way. In my point of view, the photo is a color and the other very different color that from my point of view only helps to distract attention, but in these last images with the processing you have achieved, the truth is that the photos are very interesting Another very beautiful contribution is the light of day, very well chosen in that moment in which there are no very contrasted shadows. A hug Andy
ReplyDeleteI agree with Luis' observations. You are capturing a particular kind of low-key spectrum that is warm and strong.
DeleteWow--- I'd love to get some shots of that. Well done, Andy.
ReplyDeletePerfect, muted colors in this photo.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo but it's too bad that the building wasn't repurposed before its decline. It looks like it was very fine at one time and the setting certainly is nice.
ReplyDeleteWonderful building, I wonder when it will collaps into the river...
ReplyDeleteStrong image with the rushing water and weathered building. Very good composition.
ReplyDeleteAn appealing image; the kind of photograph I would definitely frame and hang up in my home.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! I love old mills.
