Rare Sighting

I came across this guy on the pavement underneath a picnic table. There was a time when toads were plentiful in the neighbourhood. Now of days I am lucky to see any.

  10. Toads absorb water through their skin (they don't drink). It means they also absorb any toxins or other nasties they come into contact with, likely a good reason we're not seeing so many of them anymore.
