Sadly, frogs both locally and worldwide are in serious trouble. Around 30% of all the world's frog species are threatened with extinction. This includes several forms found here in Ontario.

    Up in the warmer climate, up north we have small green frogs and often see them in sinks and underneath the toilet seats - when we visit up that way of course..

  8. we don't take very good care of what we've got Andy... we opened into phase 3 here in Moonbeam last Friday... but we aren't going to travel very far away from home....peter:)

  9. Unfortunately for them they absorb through their skin and take in toxic chemicals used in our lawns and gardens...and, seemingly, everywhere else, too.
    This is a great portrait of a rather beautiful little guy.
