...I saw 100s of their cousins yesterday in the snow!
ReplyDeleteLots of downy feathers?
ReplyDeleteThey must be hardier than the ones that are gathering down here.
ReplyDeleteGeese seem unbothered by the cold. They will stay if they have an adequate food supply. A large flock stays in Sioux Falls all winter. Aerators keep a lake open and apparently there is food for them. The airport uses dogs to keep geese away from the runways.
ReplyDeleteThose geese are built for the cold and it looks very cold.
ReplyDeleteAs long as they've got open water, they can make do.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Andy! Makes me miss the Great Lakes.
ReplyDeleteNice capture and I suppose they have an extra winter coat.
ReplyDeleteWell they are canadian inhabitants.
ReplyDeleteThis looks really cold, nice to see them all together braving the cold.
