    I've seen those signs here too, instead they promote feeding them rice or nuts

    The mallards usually remove the signs and put up ones that stress the healthy qualities of stale white bread. Seriously, I wish there were more signs like that.

    Never heard that bread makes them sick, here I see people always give bread at ducks and birds.
