...such a charming collection of stuff!

ReplyDeleteThey've cluttered up the area.
ReplyDeleteAs farms have become mainly producers of grain, the buildings have lost their function. Areas around the buildings in many farms have become storage yards of unwanted or unused machinery. Our landscape is also covered with abandoned farm houses.

ReplyDeleteSome of my people traveled west in wagon trains and settled great farms in Oregon. But in my lifetime, the family farms are fading-- as are the towns that served them.
