...a beautiful spot!
ReplyDeleteSuper location, Andy.
ReplyDeleteWhat an idyllic scene!
ReplyDeleteAndy, lovely scene along this river. The people living there must enjoy this place.
ReplyDeleteGreat scenery
ReplyDeleteNicely caught--- Your comment about the dam--- The sediment dam was built within a few years of the eruption of Mt. St. Helens in an effort to slow the ash and debris from flowing down the Toutle River to the Cowlitz River, and then into the Columbia. Massive dredging was needed, even on the Columbia for ship traffic. The sediment dam helped, but it eventually disappeared under all the sediment! Not much to see or photograph anymore.
ReplyDeleteGreat spot to see Andy.
ReplyDeleteA terrific view.
ReplyDeleteA very pretty spot to live next to
