A funny sign indeed but have you to pay for listening to this station.
ReplyDeleteNope. It's free on the regular FM dial.
DeleteWow...have you listened, and did you find your favorite?
ReplyDeleteYou have to go back to the fifties and sixties to hear my favourite.
DeleteSomehow I think we'll both be getting our money back! It's rare that I hear my favorite songs on the radio, which is why I usually listen to CBC1. The talking is less irritating to me than terrible pop songs which just say the same thing over and over.
ReplyDeleteyou are finding those little record discs everywhere, aren't you!
ReplyDeletecan't honestly say that this is my favourite station, either. (and not just for their music choices)
I've never listened to them either.
ReplyDeletemoney back for not hearing my favorite music? they couldn't afford for me to listen to most stations!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll gove them a try... and then ask for my money back. :)
ReplyDeletei wonder if they still play requests.
ReplyDeleteSIGNS
I like the humour in the offer of money back. My favourite music is that of the swing era (30s AND 40s) and the first half of the 50s. From thereonout it has mainly been noise, with a few exceptions. I rarely listen to radio other than to my national classic listening station. The rest of the stations mix it all up, and I might like only one out of one hundred. I won't get that time back!
ReplyDeleteA money back guarantee for free airwaves -- better than twice your trash back!
ReplyDeleteYou folks north of the border have a lot of interesting things on your signs! ;-) I can't imagine a radio station making that sort of claim here.
ReplyDeletehaha...let's see - free radio = refund of 0 (assuming it's a free station)
ReplyDeleteMoney back guarantee....I am wondering what that means. Maybe it is a cable station where you pay for the service. Anyway it is a real eye catcher of a sign. genie
ReplyDeleteA blast from the past with that little disc for 45's on the sign! Good catch!
