This is taken from a angle that does not demonstrate fully to the eye that it is a bridge. You will have to take my word for it that it is a pedestrian bridge on the Trans Canada Trail spanning over Duffins Creek. I'm linking to San Francisco Bay Sunday Bridges.
I am happily willing to take your word for it Andy, still a wee bit of snow around I see.
ReplyDeleteI like the bridge and the trail and I'll bet it is a great place to bike or jog or even ski in the winter! Looks like winter has left you!
ReplyDeleteI can remember going to Duffins Creek on a field trip with school many moons ago!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a footbridge to me, and a nice little arched on to beat. It looks like you all are experiencing a bit of wintry weather. We are supposed to get SNOW tomorrow.....I don’t believe them, but I hope we do.genie
ReplyDeleteIt looks quite bridge like to me!
ReplyDeleteand you took me back to when I was 20 years old and seeing snow the first time in Windsor, Ontario.
ReplyDeleteIt has a nice old world rusty look to it.
ReplyDeleteA good scattering of snow there. PS the nearest railway line to Lochinver is 50 miles away.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky and I love the houses in the background!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a pedestrian bridge. We have thousands of them in this water country. Love the sight and your photo. Great.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, I assume the trail is a walking or bike trail? Thanks for sharing, Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteWe fully take your word for it, Andy, and welcome your contribution to Sunday Bridges.
ReplyDeleteLooks intriguing! And it looks cold (but sunny!) Very nice. Thanks for visiting my bay bridge!
