I think it's a long forgotten chicken coop.

  2. You think? Chicken coop? It's not too big for a chicken coop? And all the chickens flew the coop? Well, whatever, it won't be there much longer. :-) Reminds me that our daughter in south Florida built a little chicken coop and bought some little chickens. On one of our visits, I noticed there were no chickens in the coop. She said, "I don't know where they are. They seem to like it at our neighbor's place better. So they fly the coop and go over there. But they come home every once in awhile!"

Re your comment on Ocala: You have a wicked sense of humor! No wonder I like you!

  3. I haven't a clue as to what it was used for but it makes an interesting photo, Andy.

  4. Old abandoned buildings like this are always a puzzle. Some old guy had a great idea, so he thought, and it probably worked well but it leaves us wondering what he was up to. Sometimes they built stuff in a certain way because that's the material they had.

  7. My goodness...it's amazing that structure is still standing. I really like your composition, with the branches in the foreground.

  8. Amazing old pile, I like the clarity of detail (almost looks like one side is being held up by slim bare branched trees!)
