Funny thing we have also a lot of canadian goose in the country and some of them don't go away anymore.
ReplyDeleteYour country needs tougher immigration laws:-)
DeleteGreat shot. Now here is a bird that knows about long distance flying.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many of them here too! We even have a "geese police" car that goes around (several of them) - enterprising individuals with a spare vehicle and a few dogs who chase the geese off.
ReplyDeleteThe geese are great lawn mowers. I can't understand why golf courses don't like them as it must save them thousands in mowing costs!
ReplyDeleteThese geese like it here, too. I think some of them have had enough of your long Canadian winters.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo! I love the goose is mostly silhouetted against the water - so pretty!
ReplyDeleteCanada geese are almost reaching the same place in my affection ranking as squirrels and pigeons. They are poo machines.
ReplyDeleteLove how the goose is silhouetted against the lake!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely composition.
