That must be a big cat they had in their house seeing the damage left and right.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great caption....you are the best! This shot really does make me smile. Love the vivid colors. genie
ReplyDeleteit'll be even more ruined by now if they haven't.
ReplyDeleteYou're probably right - eeek.
ReplyDeleteI love it when usable items are recyled in this way; everybody wins!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking big cat claws too!
ReplyDeleteYou never know what you might find at the side of the road!
ReplyDeleteNot if that photo was taken in the past couple of days. That sofa must have grown to twice its weight with all this rain.
ReplyDeleteI hope someone found good use for this too! Living in a college town, I love this informal recycle system:)
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of my Dad. Dad was starting out in the thirties . All his stuff came from auction sales. This would look like a gold mine to him. So your shot reminds me of how people find use from others trash.
ReplyDeleteI think you should have taken your old furniture to the dump! Sheesh!
ReplyDeleteFive minutes after I left a (newly repotted) plant out on the road with a "free" sign last year a man knocked at the front door to thank me for it. It was a sort his wife collected and he knew she'd be thrilled. Win-win.
ReplyDeleteThere is a very funny TV commercial about an old abandoned sofa.
ReplyDeleteIn greater Hartford, if we put an old piece of furniture curbside in the evening, it is gone most of the time by morning.
One wo/mans junk is another wo/mans treasure. :)
