Wow! I've been to that store, but I'm pretty sure that boot wasn't there. I'm sure I would have remembered. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteThats really a giant one but there must be one who sells hamburgers along the coast somewhere. I also saw a photo once of one where an whole family lived in.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a big foot.
ReplyDeleteThat is a sign I really love. I wonder what they charge to retread the soles ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is a shot of the proverbial saying, "Waiting for the other shoe to drop!"
ReplyDeleteI love these kinds of "signs" in front of stores. Nice shot!
Ha.. that photo has soul. ;)
ReplyDeleteI was at that store about 10 years ago.. never saw the boot though.
A boot worthy of Paul Bunyun! Nice.
ReplyDeleteGood one, Andy!
ReplyDeleteHaha, big foot is right! Classic shop and great symbol for the more northeasterly bits of the country. (Thanks also for your kind comment re: my brother's photo - I've tried roping him into blogging or at least co-contributing to my site to no avail, I guess fatherhood keeps one pretty busy:)
ReplyDeleteNeat! Many communities here now have some huge form to promote their community
ReplyDeleteWow! I wouldn't want to be "given the boot" by somewhere wearing this size. Love it!
ReplyDeleteRe your funny comment on Ocala: Sometimes I wish my Mum could take me on a ride but she's been gone for 20 years. :( Still miss her a lot.
Now, that's a great looking boot. Just think how much kickin' it could do.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm, I have been to this store but I don't remember the boot.
ReplyDeletethat is huge and so awesome. should be a tourist destination.
ReplyDeletean east coast big foot!
ReplyDeleteThe boot wasn't there when I was, either. But I'm on my third pair of these boots. Perfect for the "never really dry" Pacific Northwest. Love 'em.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to visit their store but have had to settle for shopping online. Love their stuff!
ReplyDelete~Lindy
ha, that is pretty neat!
ReplyDeleteit seems this is a new boot. never been to the store, but for some reason I always associate l.l.bean with shirts.
ReplyDeleteLook out underneath that big boot!
ReplyDeleteThat is a boot of boots! One way to get instant attention drawn to the sign behind!
