The curve looks pretty sharp there and the wall is high...and do I see railway tracks?
ReplyDeleteYes... the main rail line between Montreal and Toronto. The wall on the right side is a sound barrier supposedly from trains. Some people say it makes no difference.
DeleteIt is always so pleasant to be alone on an early Sunday morning. Runner looks so small in the surroundings.
ReplyDeleteQuiet time.
ReplyDeleteYep, that would be me. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a sliver of the roadway is allotted to runners and a rush of traffic could burst on the scene without a moments notice.
ReplyDeleteThe scale is perfect and its always nice to have a bend in the road so you want to go further than possible .Also that around the corner is the light. Great one again Andy.
ReplyDeleteWow that's a tall wall! Neat shot!
ReplyDeleteI like Sunday mornings for the sense of quiet everywhere.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look like the best place to be running? (but perhaps the best time...)
ReplyDeleteNeat perspective, that is one tall wall. I admire people who run, because it is the activity I dislike the most.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look like the best place for running. But at least there weren't any cars.
ReplyDeleteAnd quite a wall. I've seen sound barriers like that a lot in southern Ontario.
ReplyDeleteAs they say Andy 'the early bird catches the worm' , nice capture..
ReplyDeleteI hope for his sake that the wall doesn't come tumbling down. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteIt is not too crowded.
ReplyDeleteNice photo.
