Nice text by the photo but a guardian angel for the pedestrian is also on her place here because they have to endure the most danger. The speed is still really good.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of "Speedy Gonzales" in your town. Great capture.
ReplyDeleteAnd always look before you cross. Whew!
ReplyDeleteNever drive faster than your guardian angel can fly. I will try to remember this.
ReplyDeleteGreat advice, Andy!
ReplyDeleteGood advice!
ReplyDeleteSwoosh! I'm not one to believe in guardian angels, but it's a nice concept. Are you using a Photoshop action or filter to get the "swoosh"?
ReplyDeleteNo Photoshop for swoosh. Shutter speed was 1/60 of a second.
DeleteGood think she is heeding the no crossing sign.
ReplyDeleteAs a pedestrian, I tend to operate under the assumption that all drivers are idiots- having had once been hit by a driver who wasn't paying attention to pedestrian flow while making a turn, I learned that lesson fast.
ReplyDeleteEven when you are crossing on a green light you should be looking at the traffic around you. The road is a dangerous place.
DeleteLove the motion in all 3 speed shots Andy!
ReplyDeleteAnother good one, Andy!
ReplyDeleteSo clever to get the mixture of stillness and movement crisply in the same picture.
ReplyDeleteFine street action shot, Andy. Love the blur. Yes, there is a safety factor in assuming that all drivers are serial killers.
ReplyDeleteYou're capturing a lot of speed these days. Nice series!
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with all the comments about looking all ways. Drivers are so darned distracted these days!
Again a good speed-photo.
