ReplyDeleteI have got that video and a few books of her. Such a great street photographer. Tragic that she never could enjoy it.

Seeing - You've already started with the wonderful composition of your selfie.
Sad - that Vivian apparently fought many demons. Yet in another way, her works being found as a whole, may have a bigger impact than if they had come out one at a time.
...I only know the name.

ReplyDeleteFine selfie with Vivian Maier. She was an amazing photographer, and it is sad that the art world never knew who she was during her life. At least someone found her negatives.

ReplyDeleteGreat street photographer. I have a book about her and I watched the full documentary on YouTube. I just noticed your image on the right side of the photo. Very creative and nicely done, Andy!
ReplyDeleteI love the story about this photographer. I have seen a movie, been in a gallery that had some of her work and have read of her work and its discovery. Fascinating!

ReplyDeleteGreat selfie! I enjoyed the documentary and her work is amazing. But she was quite a different and complex person. She certainly would never have been a blogger!
