What a shame. As Tom suggests, there's a story here. I'll bet the folks at HGTV could put this place back together and get a hefty price for it, too! I'd watch that show! :) It really is a beautiful house (in theory)...
So sad to see an old house with such fine lines fall into a terrible state. It would take a huge amount of work to make it live again, and I doubt that will happen. But it does make a good subject for your camera.
OMG! That would need an awful lot of TLC but I do think it could be done...by someone who had the vision and the gumption. In the meantime, how sad to see it in this condition. (sigh) Don't you wonder what the story is!
It looks like the scene of a thriller movie with as climax the pair of crutches in the corner. What has happened here........?
ReplyDeleteIf it could talk it had a lot to say I guess. Pity. Looks like a good useable house.
ReplyDelete...I wonder what the story is here!
ReplyDeleteAs it's a pity that a so beautiful house is abandoned
ReplyDeleteOnce there was...
ReplyDeleteIt must have been a fine looking house once. Sad to see it in this bad state.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was a very nice house. How sad, Andy!
ReplyDeleteI hate seeing the big old brick ones go due to neglect.

ReplyDeleteYes, that can't be saved.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame to see such a lovely brick home in such a state. It looks so solid on the outside. It makes me wonder if it could be saved and restored.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was once lovely. I wonder what happened.

ReplyDeleteSad. It looks like somebody had to walk away from this fine old house.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sad mess.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity but that's life. Looks as if it was a good house once.
ReplyDeleteMagnificas escenas de arquitectura. Muy buena la luz, tanto en el exterior como en los interiores
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo

ReplyDeleteWow! Beauty of an old brick house, too bad it's open to the elements.
