...good for you! How times and things have changed. 50 years ago when we were married we received an ash tray as a wedding gift.
ReplyDeleteI cough just look at your picture. LOL!
ReplyDeleteWell done Andy. I have up about 45 yeras ago, not regreted it since, just wish I gave up drink sooner that took me another 25 odd years.
ReplyDeleteGood for you Andy! I've never been a smoker .
ReplyDeleteGood for you!! That is quite an achievement.
ReplyDeleteExcellent, congratulations. My dad was a heavy smoker and had very bad emphysema, so I never smoked.
ReplyDeleteA vile habit. I think one of my brothers still smokes.
ReplyDeleteWill be a rare sight in the future but good for you.
ReplyDeleteFeliz año nuevo. Son muchos quienes en estas fechas intentan dejar de fumar.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo,
Good for you! I see people today buy cigarettes and they are so very expensive.
ReplyDeleteExcellent. My father was a life long smoker until 1965. We kids called the year of hell.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! It does ugly things to smoker lungs. I even have damage from secondhand smoke.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! My dad did the same. That is why he is still with us!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Andy. Quitting smoking is a sensible thing to do. Tobacco is a kind of poison that cost our society billions of dollars a year in health care, illness, missed work, and untold pain and suffering. Smoking killed my father.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I quit over 35 years ago cold turkey and we have never looked back.
ReplyDeleteWell done to you.
About twenty-five years ago for me. Ya just gotta wanna bad enough. I'm glad you and I both did.
ReplyDeleteA wise decision!
ReplyDeleteGood for you Andy! My dad and grandpa both quit cold turkey years ago and never went back. My mom unfortunately can't give it up and I am sure she has that exact ashtray.
