Canada Geese have embedded themselves so much into our lives that they have lost most of their fears of humans. |

...well said!
ReplyDeleteSerene photo Andy
ReplyDeleteThey think they are the top of the pecking order, Andy! ;-)
ReplyDeletenice...we see them everywhere!!!
ReplyDeleteLive here as well, great flocks of them
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt would seem they have embedded themselves in a lot of places. The two you captured seem to be quite content. Nice lines in this photos.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see them close to people, Andy.
ReplyDeleteVery tranquil!
ReplyDeletethis is my first visit Andy and i like tour pictures very much... i agree that the Canada Geese feel quite at home...
ReplyDeletei live in Moonbeam... Northern Ontario....peter:)
That's very true. That one the nests here in the parking lot every spring is certainly an example.
ReplyDeleteIt is me again, Andy. I just got back from an errand and was driving along when all of a sudden all of the traffic in both directions was stopped. It turned out to be 2 Canada Geese taking a leisurely walk across the road. I thought of you & this post! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd yet they bolt south the moment it starts cooling down. Can they truly be Canadian if they can't put up with a Canadian winter?
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting how well many bird species have adapted and thrive with us humans.
ReplyDeleteI hope people are nice to them. Are they considered a pest there?
ReplyDeleteThe only time they are a pest is when they poop in the parks.
DeleteNice scene. They're very comfortable here, too. I guess that's the only way to adapt.
ReplyDeleteThat's their revenge, Andy-- The goose bombs on the wetlands train, and in the various soccer fields in town.
ReplyDeleteSweet photo.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I notice them anymore, that are just everywhere lol
