In 2002 & 2003 they were regular visitors in my backyard. First time I had ever seen geese stand on a perch. |

...a first for me too!
ReplyDeleteTheir feet look cute wrapping around the post! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHaha, love this!
ReplyDeleteoh i think that would be a first for me as well, i always see them on the ground, pooping!! what a nice picture!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun photo. I think geese are creatures of habit. They find a place they like and keep coming back.
ReplyDeletehm, that is unusual.
ReplyDeleteNever have seen Canada geese perch like this before. Perhaps they wanted a perspective before crossing the fence.
ReplyDeleteSmart birds.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! It's amazing how they can stand on the fence.
ReplyDeleteThey sure are a talented pair. :)
ReplyDeletePreciosos gansos. Se ve que tenían ganas de lucirse.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo y cuidate
Handsome couple! I don't think I've seen then perched like that. They're certainly adaptable.
ReplyDeleteWe've got them by the zillions, but I've never seen that happen! Great Blue Herons perched in trees I've seen, but not Canada Geese on a fence.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing, they look good.
