...Tuesday I took a picture of a similar windmill with large wind turbines in the background.

ReplyDeleteSomething you don't see very often any longer. I always spot for a photo when I spot one.
ReplyDeleteIn the early 20th Century wind power was commonly used in the countryside. These relics are all over the U.S. Midwest.
ReplyDeleteStill a lot of them on the dry side of the mountains--- this one is surprisingly intact!
