It was almost a week ago that I posted a photo of two Geese with 16 young ones. These two Adult Geese have ended up with a much smaller group.

...and they think that they own the place!
ReplyDeleteThe goslings are just adorable, and they grow up so quickly. I wouldn't get too close as the parents can be aggressive protecting their young.
ReplyDeleteThat'a a little more manageable than 16 young ones going off in every direction.
ReplyDeleteThey look like proud parents.
ReplyDeletePart of their upbringing is losing little ones.
ReplyDeleteSo many other animals like to eat goslings. A parent goose can only peck away at those intrusive beasts.
ReplyDeleteSome of these little guys change families as they go by one another. So two families meet and three little guys go with the other family. We found this out when trying to foster lost birds and animals.
ReplyDeleteLife is very tough for a gosling - only the ultra-tough survive.
ReplyDeleteThey look good and wonder if they are the same family.
ReplyDeleteEverywhere in my area at the moment. Cute scene, Andy.
ReplyDeleteDelightful!
ReplyDeleteA family on a city tour.
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute, looks like the parents are doing a good job
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy family Andy.
