Gatehouse

In rural areas it is common to see these structures at the driveways near the road. Most of them are there to shelter school children as they await for the school bus to arrive. This is the fanciest (it has seen better days) one I have every seen. I'm glad I shot this photo at f22 which gave me the star like effect from the sun.

  1. Nice little building. Do you have more of this kind of buildings. A wait and playhouse for children. Great.

  2. No doubt these would give the children welcome shelter on winter days!

  3. This looks really nice, but I can see how standing there as a kid would be...a little lonely
I hope the owner gives it some TLC soon.

  4. The bus shelters for the GO or the Rocket are certainly not as fancy! Nice find. :)
