Oh Dear It does look like the rain is not faar off but glad you got the BBQ finished before that happened.
ReplyDeleteWonderful images Andy. We had a huge rainstorm with thunder and lightning last night, and this morning seems to be very serene and calm. Thanks so much for linking up with "Through My Lens" photo meme.

amazing sky
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a barbecue glowing red with that sky. Perhaps something for an other time. Have a nice day Andy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a dramatic sky, very moody. So glad your finished your BBQ! Have a happy day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteTrue, the weather wasn't perfect yesterday. ;)
ReplyDeleteBut what a wonderful time for photography! What a sky!
ReplyDeleteLooks like one of my bbq days!!! I think that's a shelf cloud!!!!!
ReplyDeletePowerful images of a very dramatic sky! Good thing you finished your BBQ before the storm hit.
ReplyDeleteI love watching storms and consider myself lucky if I'm able to capture images like your's Andy. The clouds have such depth and density.
ReplyDeleteBonus... you got to eat BBQ too. LOL
Those clouds look pretty nasty.
ReplyDeleteNeed a cover for the BBQ so you can stand out of the rain
ReplyDeleteIt came up so fast yesterday, Andy! We were just heading out but waited 20 minutes and then the sun came out again!
ReplyDeleteWith clouds like that, I would head for shelter. Perhaps a basement with food, water, and a battery operated radio? Great shots. Thanks for posting on Mersad's blog.
ReplyDeleteI got my steaks done just before it started too! Was one heck of a stormy night!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are so beautiful and so dramatic. I saw one of them in Mersad's meme Through my lens.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photographs!
Looks pretty scary.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of the dramatic sky. Love them
ReplyDeleteGreat cloud formation!
ReplyDeleteThose are some ominous clouds. We look forward to the rains to cool things off a bit. But it's steamy again as soon as it's over. :/
ReplyDeleteVery ominous. That storm system didn't really affect us.
ReplyDeleteIt is desirable like Asterix, hope that the sky will not fall in the neck.
ReplyDeleteFantastic clouds.
That's mighty dramatic. Glad you got your cooking done before the worst hit.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteThat is a heavy cloud. A cloud like that brought a high wind storm to my sons backyard and knocked his fences over flat and then the neighbors as well. I posted it.
ReplyDeleteYou got a real super shot.
