I've heard of a computer reboot and a movie reboot, now you can add a house reboot to the list. Who ya gonna call... Housebusters! The new home will have Beds: 4, Baths: 5, Approx 3000-3500 sq. ft., and the list price is $1,695,000. I'm linking to Lesley's Signs, Signs.

Who wants to have so many bathrooms, only the cleaning of them would make me mad....
ReplyDeleteFunny front road is called that because you only get a front facade?
ReplyDeleteWhat are you gonna do with 3500 sq. ft. of living space?
ReplyDeleteI'm not fond of monstrous homes on tiny plots. I think they ruin otherwise homey neighbourhoods. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteA big too much for me, but I appreciate the effort: the house looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is happening in so many places. It seems that the market for expensive houses is strong up there if they can get $1.7 million.
ReplyDeleteGoing from small bungalow to huge mansion? At least it's a nice looking exterior.
ReplyDeleteIf one can afford a 1.6 million dollar home, cleaning is not a problem. Nior is repair or replacement. I just wonder if they will fit in with the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteWent to Google earth and see that they get a front row seat to the public building at the park. Not the best porch view.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Out of my price range. And like B said, why would anyone want so many bathrooms?
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy out there, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThey do massive homes on tiny lots here too. The end result doesn't come out like the artistic depiction.
ReplyDeleteWith 3500 sq feet of living space one would also need a riding vacuum cleaner. Think I might have more fun doing something else with $1.6 million.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen that kind of advertisement on a renovation before. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Ellen's comment. Also think that such a large home deserves some acreage to match. I'm sure it would look out of place in the average streetscape. (Unless there were other mansions nearby, of course.)
ReplyDeleteYour new pad? Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteI am astonished at the size of some houses we see around here, too.
ReplyDeleteThe house in the background is not for sale then?
ReplyDeleteMy SIGNS, SIGNS
Goodness. Who in the world needs 5 bathrooms?
