They can't be honoured enough, they are brave people.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice structure with the boat hanging like this.
...community service at its best.
ReplyDeleteYou must be very brave indeed to meet the circumstances sometimes in terrible weather conditions.
ReplyDeleteI thought that this was a pic from Nova Scotia. You don't really think of rescues here but I guess I should!
ReplyDeleteThey are very needed at seasides. To come to a rescue for people in trouble is so brave of them.
ReplyDeleteWell deserved tribute. These people often work under life threatening conditions.
ReplyDeleteThats one way to lift a boat.
ReplyDeleteThey put their lives on the line when they try and save others. We have the Coast Guard doing the same here by boat and helicopter. About five months ago a helicopter went down and all four people died. It was supposed to be a routine rescue.
ReplyDeleteI've seen vessels like this underway on North Carolina's Albermarle Sound.
ReplyDeleteThat's a big job for volunteers.
ReplyDeleteThe Association does important work in doing all they can to save the lives of those at sea. Their 50 years of service should be honored.
ReplyDeletePeople like that do great work.
