Uber5000

I read in the newspaper that artist Uber 5000 had painted a new mural in Toronto's Graffiti Alley. I was excited about going downtown to photograph it but it took me three weeks before I could find the time to go.

Like most murals there always seems to something that blocks one's view from getting a good clear photo. In this case it is a wall with private property on the other side.

There are a number of items in the mural that only someone from The City Of Toronto might relate to. From this photo I am listing a few of them. If you don't understand click on the highlighted words for more information. As always, you can also click on the photos for a better view. Starting from left to right there is Sam The Record Man sign just below the high flying plane. Darwin the IKEA Monkey climbing the CN Tower. Next is Crane Girl. There are more but if you are interested go back to the first photo and have good look. You might even see Uber5000 dog.

  4. This is gargantuan! And very well done. I cannot comprehend how someone can paint such a huge work and get correct the relationship between objects. Too bad you can't get a clear view of the entire wall. Maybe on another occasion?

  6. There is certainly a lot going on in that mural. Too bad it's situated where it is hard to see it all. I do love that big moose.
