...it just looks OLD!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was quite the place back in its day.
ReplyDeleteAlas that it closed down.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it could make a nice boarding house!
ReplyDeleteThe fuel pumps are not all new but they are not lacking in charm and I really like this station which has a lot more pace than the ones we have or had formerly in France
ReplyDeleteIt needed more vinyl siding to stand up straight. Good point about oldest---
ReplyDeleteThe newer part looks in good shape so it is surprising that nothing has been done with it!
ReplyDeleteHistory there - it looks rather awesome in away, people coming into town to find petrol, but alas, there are ghosts there..that is what is reminds me of..
ReplyDeleteNice to see the pictures.
This gas station looks to have been abandoned for years. Too bad they could not make it after being in business for so long, but the gas business has undergone tremendous change and many independent stations got left behind.
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly not doing anything to look any younger!
ReplyDeleteI like the juxtaposition of "oldest gas station" and "great food"!
ReplyDeleteIt was certainly a big one.
ReplyDeleteA real urbex find Andy.
ReplyDeleteAt least it is old and done now, times are changing, this is e prove of it.
ReplyDeleteIt's currently under renovation, gas pumps were removed last year - July 2021
