Another Toronto landmark has been saved from the wrecker's ball. Built in 1870, the clock tower was part of Fire Hall No 3. Demolition crews have been clearing the site for a 38 storey condominium tower. According to heritage retention plans, the clock tower will be seamlessly integrated into the building's facade.

Kensington Market

If you ever visit Toronto I highly recommend a tour the of area. The market traces its roots to the 1920s, when families of the Jewish neighbourhood would set up stands in front of their homes to sell goods to one another.

Located in London, Ontario. Sorry, no info about the artist. Childreach: “We believe that every parent wants the best for his or her child. If the best is not being provided, it is because of some barrier – such as inexperience, depression, illness, loneliness or poverty. It is our goal to help lift this barrier, and bring joy to both parent and child.” - Dr. John McKim

Bridge Over Busy Street

Andy | Saturday, January 12, 2019 | | Best Blogger Tips
Cadillac Fairview owner and operator of the Toronto Eaton Centre, back in June 2017 had plans to replace a 40 year old pedestrian bridge across Queen St., West that will connect the mall to both Hudson’s Bay and Saks Fifth Avenue flagship locations. The bridge being assembled adjacent to the shopping centre on James St., will be lifted into place once complete.
___

I returned six months later to see the new bridge in place and work compled. The pedestrian bridge comprises 200 etched bronze panels and 355 slumped glass panels which give the bridge a rectangular look on one end and gently rounded on the other.
