...all are bad, but the Giant Hogweed is awful.
ReplyDeleteGood to know!
ReplyDeleteinteresting, I have never seen a warning like that on my nature walks.
ReplyDeleteThere are a couple of plants here that I had not heard of before.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture of the sign , very useful !
ReplyDeleteA good sign to take the time to read before hitting the trail.
ReplyDeleteAlways good to not touch or molest any of the plants. The poisonous ones know how to defend themselves. Good information on that sign.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tom, the Hogweed is awful.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both of you. Getting rid of the plant has to be done by professionals.
DeleteI've never seen a warning sign like that. I suppose in the U.S. it's everyone for themselves? Then again I learned pretty young not to go eating anything I didn't truly know was safe.
ReplyDeleteExactly! And it's always good to be warned! I have had terrible bouts with poison ivy in the past where I almost had to be hospitalized. :(
ReplyDeleteFoxtail, digitalis, is very common around here in the summer- Sometimes signs are put up along the wetlands path to remind folks they are poisonous.
ReplyDeleteNever seen a sign like that here. The hogweed is a total other thing, a real plague and hard to get rid of.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't dare to touch anything there!
ReplyDeleteWe've got some of those here too, always pays to be careful.
ReplyDeleteUn numéro bien nécessaire
ReplyDeleteBetter safe than sorry hey Andy 😊
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a sign like that but very informative for everyone. Thank you for sharing Andy.
ReplyDeleteAlways a good idea to stay on the trail.
