I had to go back to the archives for this one. The young lad just walked into the scene when I pressed the shutter button. I thought his blue and white shirt made a good match up with the payphones. |

Are they still around these days? Looking at your description I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteThose are beaten up phone boxes!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had any public phones in France for a few years now. Smartphones have replaced them. Good eye for the blue T-shirt matching the cabin.
ReplyDeleteand you were right, it does make a godd match. You don't see too many of those phones these days.
ReplyDeleteYes - a nice selection of blues
ReplyDeletePerfect timing. You don't see many pay phones on the streets any longer.
ReplyDelete...you were in the right place at the right time.
ReplyDeleteThere are less of them by the year.
ReplyDeleteLo viejo y lo nuevo. Los teléfonos públicos que desaparecen y el niño que tienen toda la vida por delante y tono en tono azul.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
Pay phones are all antiques these days. They have become quite rare. Good shot, especially with the serendipity of the young man and his blue and white shirt.
ReplyDeletePerfect. Who would have thought that pay phones would become relics in our lifetime?
ReplyDeleteAn archival success! Well done!
ReplyDeleteAmazing that the boy matches so well with the other colours! Well done Andy!
ReplyDeleteWhat are those things? lol I have actually pointed those out to my son since they are few and far between these days.
