Nice nightshot, Andy! We used to live in a small town in Oregon years ago and when it snowed they plowed the streets but left the snow in the middle of the road. It would sit, melt and then freeze again. A woman crossed the road once, slipped and broke her ankle. Cars got stuck tryting to make a turn. I never understood the thinking behind that process.
ReplyDeleteA landscape of desolation as often when the snow melts and the rain mixes in. It makes what we call "mud"...
ReplyDeleteKind of looks like the moon's surface!
ReplyDeleteThat makes me want to go back to bed and hide! ;-)
ReplyDeleteBrrrrr!!
ReplyDeleteThis certainly brings back memories of growing up in Illinois. Our winters looked a whole lot like this.
ReplyDeleteNice Star Effect Off The Lamp Posts
ReplyDeleteCheers
...you call that 'cleaning up the road?'
ReplyDeleteThat was only phase one. They returned later in the day and finished the job.
DeleteNice lighting but does look a bit of a mess being left like that
ReplyDeleteBuena toma nocturna con una excelente iluminación.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
A wonderful night shot.
ReplyDeleteThe lighting is worth the shot but that snow is an ugly mess.
ReplyDeleteWe don't get so much snow around here but only our main roads get plowed. People on courts like yours are generally out of luck. And while our road is plowed there's always a pile left at the end of our driveway. Spring can't come a moment too soon!
As if I weren't already cold enough! Seriously, your night shots are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIt looks really cold Andy but beautiful as ever.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen this for a long time...But it ends always in a melting mess....
