    When buying in a high rise, the distance down was a consideration, third floor, the ladders can reach me.

    Wonderful patterns and perspective in your photo of this fire escape. Good eye, Andy. Yes, the gas pump with the glass tank is an old one, but the smaller one might be from the 1940s or 1950s. The gas station in my photo is not an operating station, but is a place to display the antique signs and pumps.

    Nice point of view. The way fire escape stairs were applied in North America has never taken off here in Europe.
