  10. Nice spot.. I've been there. Frank tells me that he caught his first fish without needing adult help to reel it in, at that spot. His memory (though it belongs to a fisherman and was from childhood) reports that it was huge.. and that when he called his Dad and his friend over from the area where they were focusing to come see it, a raccoon grabbed it and ran off with it.

  11. This looks like a great place to fish . . . if one is a fisherman. A high school basketball teammate of mine is now a fishing guide in Maine. He recently suggested I go up to Maine and he will take me fishing. I had to decline; I have studiously avoided fishing my entire life for fear I would catch a fish and then have to figure out what to do with the darned thing.

  12. Truly gorgeous scene, though part of me hates to see a river flowing through what looks like a channel...though, being what it is, a river will usually flow exactly as it wishes.
