Nice combination, the waves and the ice.
ReplyDeleteWhat we all do to take that shot. Sometimes unbelievable.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, it's quite normal.
ReplyDeleteIt does what only the following purposes: to get a good picture - even in winter.
Haha...spoken like a true photographer! That's some thick ice!
ReplyDeleteWatch and take care of those slippery slopes!
ReplyDeleteCity Daily Photo bloggers are adventurous like that.
ReplyDeleteI don;'t think I would have chanced it. I wouldn't want to slip into that icy water.
ReplyDeleteGlad you did. That is neat to look at from warm and exceedingly dry California.
ReplyDeleteWe do what we must to get the shot ....
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you did either, Andy! The wind must have been fierce down there!
ReplyDeleteThanks we do for a good shot!
ReplyDeleteJust watch out. Those waves are sneaky, and will got you when you aren't looking. Cool.
ReplyDeleteFrom a warm and dry perspective, it was worth it. It's a nice shot. But I can't help wondering if cabin fever didn't play into it.
ReplyDeleteIt does make for a dramatic photograph, so well done!
ReplyDeleteWow Andy, that ice looks about 3 inches thick! The little ice there was on our local pond was so thin it would hardly support a bird, nice shot.
ReplyDeleteIt's been that kind of winter!
ReplyDeleteGeesh that looks cold.
