On a bright sunny day I came across this collision aftermath between a motorcycle and a school bus.
Police say blinding glare like this is a lot more common and deadly than most people realize.

Scary pictures.
ReplyDeleteTo much people close their eyes on the reality of life. We have to cope with it and perhaps find some improvements. Clear shots Andy.
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic and awful, hope they recover...
ReplyDeleteGreat shots Andy. Hopefully he is doing well.
ReplyDeleteGreat documentary.
ReplyDeleteI hope it will go ok for them.
How sad. Blinding glare sure can be dangerous as your photos prove.
ReplyDeleteThese are great "street reporter" shots. I hope he's okay and recovering from the scare nicely.
ReplyDeleteHope he was wearing a helmet!
ReplyDeleteAs an avid motorcyclist who rides daily, I feel bad for the motorcyclist and the bus driver. Both will have their lives changed forever. Sun glare isn't normally something I'm concerned about, but I will add that to my list.
ReplyDeleteMotorcyclists always come out second best in an accident. This is sad when it happens, but you got good action shots. If your photos were in b&w they could be right up there with Weegee for action and drama.
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm thinking about selling my motorcycle. I've pushed my luck far enough.
ReplyDeleteScary, Andy!
ReplyDeleteAnd as is often the case, the biker comes off the worst for it.
ReplyDeleteI do hope he is recovering.
ReplyDeleteour Shell station has become Z station.
ReplyDeleteNasty. Good luck to him. (Sorry for the few recent visits . . . time, power and wifi are scarce in South Africa right now . . . )
