Wonderful! Have a great weekend Andy.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is Nice colour
ReplyDeleteMy...not sure I'd ever pick that color! ha.
ReplyDeleteI just passed one of these last week, but it was an ugly yellow, this color is outstanding.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen one of those before. An unusual auto.
ReplyDeleteVolkswagons made jeeps?
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine had a VW Jetta in that colour.
It would sure show up in winter, Andy!
ReplyDeleteI think most of the VW "Things" I've seen have been orange, Good capture, Andy.
ReplyDeleteIn the U.S. this was called a VW Thing sold between 1973-75, but discontinued in the U.S. because it did not meet U.S. safety standards of distance between passenger and windscreen. In the rest of the world this was know as the VW Kubelwagen (bucket wagon) and was a German military vehicle in WW II, and then sold to the public 1968 to 1983. They are highly collectable today and are fun vehicles especially in good weather, top down driving. Never seen a red one before, but why not? This is an unusual find, Andy.
ReplyDeleteWow, talk about old school! Nice!
ReplyDeleteWonderful brilliant color for this jeep! (PS. I will be posting and commenting sporadically for awhile; I need to take care of some medical issues first, which leaves me little time to blog.) Have a good week-end!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a colour, no chance of missing that on the road...
ReplyDeleteNice color - no matter the color if it it only red.
