I think you are right, but it expresses a nice image of the current streets with all that traffic lights.
ReplyDeleteNice tele shot Andy and it looks that there are to much traffic lights.
ReplyDeleteI only think about clutter when I am home. I am not a fan of clutter or chaos. It's a busy picture at a busy intersection....I don't want to be that busy ;)
ReplyDeleteIt does look busy...and backwards, to me!
ReplyDeleteI think you are right. I've seen this effect before. I do like this street scene. It's a little slice of life.
ReplyDeleteLike the way the sidewalk leads viewer's eyes into that forest of light poles. Yes, long lenses do foreshorten distance putting things together that really aren't.
ReplyDeleteThe street lights look so close together, which makes an interesting imaginary line.
ReplyDeleteIt does provide for a good slice of life shot.
ReplyDeleteSeems to me that you were standing in the middle of the street when taking this photo!
ReplyDeleteIt is nothing but a illusion. I was standing on the sidewalk. :)
DeleteAhh, the miracle of foreshortening.
ReplyDeleteClutter street?? It would be interesting to see what happens to color and shapes if you took shots from different locations. it looks like you're going to get run over from this position!
ReplyDeleteThe stop lights are aplenty, that's for sure. Neat street scene, Andy! Have a great day.
ReplyDeletePart of our urban visual overload, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThe zoom accents it but this shot speaks to the chaos of urban life. Not always appealing.
ReplyDeleteZooming does tend to flatten out stuff and take away all that peaceful space in between.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely lost of road clutter here and while the zooming highlighted it, still much overload😕
ReplyDeleteI would say two many lights in one area for starters.. Stop and go. Drudgery. Glad I live out of the hassle and bustle of City Life.
