In love with this shot Andy! The shadow of the kite is blissful...looks like a set of three bats :)
ReplyDeleteHave you also tried it a bit cropped. For me the subject disappears a little in the landscape and the kite is just so brilliant with the light falling through.
ReplyDeleteGuess what? It is already ready cropped.
DeleteBeautiful! what a light and composition Andy.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. Great photos and love the post titles.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Deletegreat capture, Andy!

ReplyDeleteAh! The thrill of getting a kite into the air! And keeping it there. ;)
ReplyDeleteSuper shot, Andy!
ReplyDeleteTerrific light and great kite photo. Love the shadow on the beach. Always love a good kite flying session. Don't see many box kites these days.
ReplyDeleteNice capture! I like how you got the kite's shadow too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a magnificent sky, Andy! Splendid shot.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteNice light, Andy. I like that little girl.
ReplyDeleteAnother one of the childhood pleasures that I miss.
ReplyDeleteAnother "just right" shot. The light is very nice and I like the kite's pop of color.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot, full of fun.
ReplyDeleteSmashing picture Andy, a lovely shot..
ReplyDeleteA great shot Andy - the lighting, the kite with shadow, the mum and child. Love it!
