Its not a word used in the dutch cuisine so I had to look it up and I think that gravy over french fries wouldn't tolerated anywhere in the netherlands but perhaps this guy can make it really nice although it must be a big calorie bomb then if there is also molten cheese in play.
ReplyDeleteAnd did you tasted it?
ReplyDeleteI think I'll remain a purist when it comes to fries. Salt is all that's needed.
ReplyDeleteDoes not sound very appealing to me but I would be brave enough to try it out at least once.
ReplyDeleteWe've got at least one of these Smoke's here. I do love poutine!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I have never tried it!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I'd like to try it.
ReplyDeleteoh boy!
ReplyDeleteNever had Poutine, actually never heard of it till your post. I'm being educated :)
ReplyDeleteWe're so accustomed to plain fries in the U.S. that anything more than catsup on them seems like heresy. There is a restaurant that serves poutine here but since even plain fries seem like a big calorie indulgence I've kept my curiosity in check and not tried them.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Poutine before. I'll take the Fries but I don't know if I like the sound of Curd & Gravy. I'm not even sure what curd is but I just don't like the sound of it. Sounds a bit too suspicious...
ReplyDeleteWell Andy, poutine! That's definitely a new one for me :) but I'd be willing to give it a try :)
